BIO: 

LUST OF DECAY was spawned in the year 2000. Their debut album ‘Infesting the Exhumed’ was released in 2002. Then followed up by ‘Kingdom of Corpses’ in 2004 and their final album ‘Purity Through Dismemberment’ in 2006. During those years LUST OF DECAY played many shows and festivals. They also had numerous line-up changes and sadly in 2007 the band split up.

In 2014 LUST OF DECAY reformed with some original and new members. They embarked on their first and only US tour with label mates DEVANGELIC and COATHANGER ABORTION. During this period they wrote two new songs and played select shows and festivals. However, in late 2016 the band went on hiatus.

In early 2020 LUST OF DECAY was devastated to hear about the untimely passing of their long-time bassist Joe Payne. It was then decided to reunite once again to perform a special tribute set for their fallen brother on March 14th. Upon that decision and the very supportive fans showing their undying love for the band, LUST OF DECAY decided that returning for just one show was not enough.

They are now confirmed for a couple festivals including the mighty Chicago Domination Fest in July 2020. With this reunion they also plan to write new music in the hopes of releasing a new and very long overdue album. LUST OF DECAY has claimed since early 2002, and it still holds true to this day... "Prepare for the sickness”.
